2022 – 2023 Events:

Wednesday, December 21: Winter Solstice Lantern Stroll
A free community event where students are invited to craft their own lanterns, share in a cup of hot cocoa and join in lantern lit stroll through the neighborhood. A lovely winter celebration!

Wednesday, November 23: Turkey Trot & Bake Sale
A fun run around Sennott Park is the perfect pre-holiday event!

Wednesday, November 21: Pie Sale Fundraiser
Bake a pie, buy a pie, either way it’s a delicious way to support the CPORT community!

Tuesday, October 25: CPORT Family Coffee Hour
A casual meetup on the playground to connect with new and returning families.

2021 – 2022 Events:

By June 21: Virtual Talent Show
Students are invited to share their talents from sommersaults to magic tricks to boogie boarding. All talents welcome!

Sunday, May 22: Inman Eats
The CPTO staffs a lemonade stand at Inman Eats to raise money for the CPTO.

Saturday, May 21: Spring Fling  and Silent Auction
Our biggest event of the year celebrated for the first time outside! Events include scavenger hunts, obstacle courses, crafts, seed planting, a petting zoo and the silent auction featuring generous donations from the CPORT community.

May: All-School Read-a-Thon
In collaboration with Ms. Van Auken, we shared and celebrated the joy of reading with students grades k-5. One of our biggest fundraisers of the year raising over $5000 in direct donations.

Saturday, April 30: Make a Difference Day
Our largest service event gives families an opportunity to spruce up the school with building improvement projects. 

March: CPORT Coloring Book
New this year, students are invited to share a coloring page for the coloring book. Once collected, perfected and printed, the books will be available for sale. A great way to showcase our students’ artwork!

2019 – 2020 Events:

Friday, September 20: PARKing Day
Stop by as CPORT joins the City of Cambridge in their annual celebration of community and all things Cambridge. We’ll be on Broadway around the corner from school.

Wednesday, October 16: Early Learners Dinner
An opportunity for JK and K families to gather to get to know one another and learn more about Cambridgeport. Hosted by Principal Katie and Family Liaison Kristen with free buffet dinner provided by the CPTO.

Friday, November 15: Movie Night
Cinderella starring Brandy and Whitney Houston. Hosted by Kristen Emack, our Family Liaison, with free pizza dinner provided by the CPTO.

Wednesday, November 27: Turkey Trot & Thanksgiving Pie Sale
A fun run around Sennott Park is the perfect pre-holiday event! Pies are available for pre-order or at the event. 

Saturday, January 11: Make a Difference Day
Our largest service event gives families an opportunity to spruce up the school with building improvement projects. 

Thursday, February 13: Math and Pasta Night
A free family dinner followed by a fun-filled evening of learning about math through interactive math games. 

Saturday, March 14: Ice Skating
Free ice skating at 3:00pm at Simoni Rink.

Thursday, March 19: Multicultural Potluck
Share dishes from all over the world and see local performers.

Saturday, May 2: Spring Fling Talent Show and Silent Auction
Our biggest event of the year showcases our amazing kids while bringing in most of our revenue to support our many programs and initiatives.
