The Turkey Trot

The Turkey Trot is a long-time tradition at Cambridgeport. Held annually the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, it’s a combination of a fun run, community gathering and fundraiser. It was one of the first community events to return post-pandemic and really has become a wonderful coming together of the community.

Families, classmates and friends of CPORT are invited to run, hop, skip or walk as many laps as you’d like around Greene-Rose Park. Then pop by the bake sale to enjoy a sweet treat — or two or three — while supporting a good cause. All proceeds from the bake sale help us support students, staff and families in our community.

So thankful for our volunteers each year who offer to bake for the bake sale, handle sales at the bake sale, pin running numbers on the kids, direct runners and even don the turkey suit! Couldn’t do any of this without you! If you’d like to volunteer for events like these — thank you! — please contact us at hello@cambridgeportpto.org
