CPTO SPONSORED EVENTS

September 9: CPORT Family Coffee Hour
A casual meetup on the playground to connect with new and returning families.

September 29: School Potluck Dinner
A community dinner hosted on the playground where families are invited to bring a dish, dessert or beverage to share. It’s a wonderful way to connect with new and returning families early in the year.

Wednesday, November 22: Turkey Trot & Bake Sale 12:30–2 PM at Sennott Park
A fun run around Sennott Park is the perfect pre-holiday event! Walk, run or skip around the park with Cambridgeport friends and a giant turkey! Snack on delicious baked goods that will raise funds to support our community.

Thursday, December 21: Winter Solstice Lantern Stroll 5:30–6:30 PM starting at the Cambridgeport School
A free community event where students are invited to craft their own lanterns, share in a cup of hot cocoa, and join a lantern-lit stroll around the block. A lovely winter celebration!

Saturday, March 23: Make a Difference Day 10am-2:30pm at the Cambridgeport School
Our largest service event gives families an opportunity to spruce up the school with building improvement projects.

CANCELLED: All-School Read-a-Thon Fundraiser
In collaboration with our school librarian Ms. Van Auken, we celebrate the joy of reading with students grades k-5. One of our biggest fundraisers of the year raising over $5000 in direct donations.

Saturday, May 18: The Spring Fling 2-5pm
Our biggest event of the year! Events include obstacle courses, crafts, seed planting, a petting zoo, bake sale, auction and a raffle featuring generous donations from the CPORT community.

Sunday, May 19: Inman Eats & Crafts
The CPTO staffs a lemonade stand at Inman Eats to raise money for our school community.

Tues June 4, 4 – 10pm: Flatbread Pizza Fundraiser
A CPTO co-hosts with American Flatbread pizza for this fundraiser. $4 of every large pizza and $2 of every small pizza purchased during this time is donated to the CPTO. The CPTO is required to help promote this event and make a sign to hang at the restaurant.
